About your teacher
I'm Laura
Bandhas and breathwork together are the most powerful techniques of the yogis and here I share my years of experience and research with this in-depth exploration of breath work, pranayama & bandhas techniques, taught with a contemporary understanding of relationship to the vagus nerve.
Yoga has been my life path- I started practice when I was at uni and was struggling with my mental health. I didn't make it through that first degree, but I did bring a love of yoga with me when I left. For me it has been a path from fear, shame & isolation, to a sense of self-worth. Today I live with my teenage son & our three dogs and work at my own studio in Bristol with my incredible team. It's been a long process of figuring out what works and now the yoga I share combines movement with stillness, science with philosophy. Because this is the practice that has transformed my life and that I see inspiring my students. I'd love to share this with you too
What our students say:
Laura seamlessly integrates yoga traditions with science informed learning in a trauma sensitive and inclusive way. Making it all very relevant today. Her hugely in depth knowledge and experience is shared with love and compassion.
